What is Hospice Care?
Hospice is a specialized kind of care for people who have weeks or months rather than years to live and who are coping with any serious, life-limiting illness. Cawley Hospice provides quality end-of-life care and support to the patient’s family and caregivers.
With a focus on comfort and quality of life, hospice care provides expert medical care, pain management and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes.
Hospice services are available to patients with any serious illness, including cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, stroke, and end- stage kidney, liver and lung disease.
